Who is the Ideal Candidate? 

We are looking for an experienced CIS Practice Accountant with a specialisation in UK Taxation, boasting a minimum of 3 years of expertise. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional capable of handling various responsibilities associated with CIS payments and returns. Your role will encompass preparing CIS returns, analysing CIS regulations, monitoring industry trends, and completing CIS reports.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Verify and post subcontractor applications weekly.
• Apply accurate VAT treatment based on project and trade details.
• Address payment queries with subcontractors and surveyors.
• Issue weekly subcontractor remittances and payments.
• Perform monthly subcontractor statement reconciliations.
• Ensure company-wide compliance with CIS rules.
• Process monthly CIS and PAYE payments.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3+ years' experience with UK companies in a similar role.
• 1+ years experience processing CIS accounts
• ACCA Part-Qualified.
• Not more than 30 days notice period
